Shipping & Returns

We are currently offering Flat Rate Shipping to the Continental United States, we also offer UPS Standard Shipping on our site.  If you need a different shipping option please call or email us.

At times we offer various Free Shipping promotions. Such as Free Shipping in Orders over 100 dollars.  These promotions are for the Continental United States.

Please call or email for International Shipping.

Shipping Method
JadeTime.com uses USPS, UPS and FedEx for shipping for most continental U.S. orders. UPS and FedEx operates Monday thru Friday except all major holidays. We are closed when UPS and FedEx are closed.

Standard Shipping vs. UPS

Standard Flat Rate shipping is the most economical way to ship a package.  Jadetime.com determines the best way to ship your package if you choose this service.  These services may include, but are not limited to Parcel Post, USPS Priority, and/or First Class Mail.  These services do not provide a delivery date guarantee.  This means that your package may reach you in 3 days or 14 days.   Jadetime.com does not guarantee delivery dates for this shipping option.  The chart below simply serves as an estimate of delivery time and does not serve as a guarantee.  Flat Rate Shipping is not avaliable to all states and countires, it is usually offered to the lower 48 Continental United States.

UPS is often not the most economical way to ship.  However, all UPS packages provide a delivery date guarantee.  This is the best way to go if you need your order by a specific date.  Not only are delivery dates guaranteed with UPS, but you will receive a full refund of your shipping cost if your package does not arrive by a specific date.  

SHIPPING TIMES

When Will My Order Be Shipped?
We typically ship orders within one business day.  A business day is Monday - Friday excluding holidays.  We do not ship to P.O. Box locations so please provide us with your physical address. Exceptions include back-ordered items or if we happen to have a question about your order. If any part of your order is back ordered, we will hold your entire order until all items are ready to be shipped. If we have a question about your order, we will contact you via email.  If you pay with a check, echeck or if your credit card has not yet cleared we will hold your order until everything has cleared.

Standard Shipping – 6 to 10 business days (most of the time)

UPS Ground – 2 to 6 business days
UPS 3Day – 3 to 4 business days
UPS 2Day – 2 to 3 business days
UPS NextDay – 1 to 2 business days

Hawaii/Alaska
Standard Shipping – 14 to 20 business days (most of the time)
UPS Standard – 3 to 5 business days
UPS 2Day – 2 to 3 business days
UPS NextDay – 1 to 2 business days

Canada*
Standard Shipping – 6 to 10 business days (most of the time)
UPS Standard – 5 to 8 business days
UPS Expedited – 3 to 5 business days

*For international orders please be advised that shipping dates are not guaranteed due to the fact that your countries customs department may delay the shipment process.


Be advised that the day your order is processed/shipped are NOT counted as a business day.  

Example 1:  Carlos order on Wednesday at 2 PM; his order will be processed on Wednesday, but will not leave our warehouse until Thursday.  Friday is the first business day of his delivery cycle.  

Example 2:  Anna places an order on Friday at 10 PM; her order will be processed and shipped on Monday.  Tuesday is the first business day of her delivery cycle.

Example 3:  Jennifer placed an order on Thursday at 5 PM; her order will be processed on Thursday, but will not leave our warehouse until Friday. Monday is the first business day of her delivery cycle.  

Example 4: John placed an order on Saturday morning; his order will be processed on Saturday, but will not leave our warehouse until Monday.  Tuesday is the first business day of his delivery cycle.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Please contact us at info@jadetime.com or by phone for any international orders.  In order to provide our customers with the best shipping rates, we ask our customers to contact us before placing an international order.  Be advised that all international orders are subject to customs and/or brokers fees, tariffs, taxes, and/or duties.  Jadetime.com is not responsible for the aforementioned fees.  Shipping and handling charges do not include customs and/or brokers fees, tariffs, taxes, and/or duties. 

*Orders to Canada are considered international orders.

Holidays

During the year we are closed the following days: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve. If UPS and Fed Ex are closed in addition to any of these days, we will be closed as well. On the Friday after Thanksgiving, there is no delivery, and no packages are picked up.


ORDER CANCELATION

Orders place on a business day can be canceled within 30 minutes.  Orders placed on a non-business day can be canceled at the beginning of the next business day.  Business days are usually Mondays through Fridays with the exception of holidays.  

CHANGE OF DELIVERY ADDRESS

Change of delivery address can be accommodated as long as your package has not left our Los Angeles warehouse facility.  

If your package has already been shipped, UPS assesses $12/package for change of address service.  This fee is the responsibility of the customer.

Packages shipped through the US Post Office do not have a change of address option.

CHANGE TO ORDERS

Order changes can be accommodated as long as your order has not been processed.  Once orders are processed and have left our warehouse facilities, no changes will be made.

REFUSAL TO ACCEPT DELIVERY

If you placed an order with Jadetime.com and refuse delivery of the package, you will receive a refund of the original order excluding the shipping charges plus $12 for return postage.

RETURNS

Jadetime.com does not charge a restocking fee for orders returned in its original condition.  Original condition means that the products were not taken out of the original packaging and/or used.
Items that do not qualify for return includes, but are not limited to:

  1. LED lights and/or products that include batteries.
  2. Lanterns that have been removed from its original packaging
  3. Items that have been used and/or removed from its original packaging
  4. Battery operated lights


Returns must be initiated within 30 days of receiving your order.  Returns will not be accepted after 30 days of receiving your order.   No refunds are given to items that have been opened and/or used.

Return postage is the responsibility of the customer.  Jadetime.com does not pay for return postage.  

When returning an order, follow these procedures:

  1. Count the items being returned
  2. Include a copy of your original invoice with the return.  We cannot credit anyone’s account unless we know who to credit.
  3. Circle and indicate on the invoice how many of each items is being returned
  4. Make sure items are not used and/or out of original packaging.   Items not in its original state will not be accepted for returns.
  5. Make sure there is a tracking number for your return.  Sometimes packages are lost in the mail and we are not responsible for packages that do not reach us.

  1. Once your returned is received, your refund is processed within 2 to 5 business days.  It may take an additional 2 to 5 days for your banking institution to post your refund.


Refunds are made on the cost of merchandise only and exclude any and all shipping and handling fees.   Refunds are made to the original method of payment.  No exceptions.

Be advised that if your package qualified for FREE shipping at the time of purchase and your returns places the value of your order below the FREE shipping requirement you will be charged for shipping fees incurred with your order.  If orders that qualified for FREE shipping are returned, shipping fees will be assessed and deducted from the total amount refunded.     

EXCHANGES

If you need and/or would like different product(s) than the ones purchased, you must place a new order for these items.   Jadetime.com cannot guarantee that a specific product is available by the time the returned items are received in our warehouse.  Due to the possibility of selling out, all customers requesting an exchange are asked to place a new order to ensure prompt delivery of the new items.

Please follow the instructions above to return the original order.

When Will My Order Likely Be Delivered?
The following shipping map is for UPS Standard Ground Shipping, it is not for our flat rate shipping. Please keep in mind that shipping time estimates on the following map are common but not guaranteed.

Non-Continental U.S. Shipments
Shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, APO are usually shipped via UPS, FedEx or USPS Mail.

International Shipments
International Shipments take longer for us to process due to customs documentation.  Extra charges and delays may occur due to customs.  We only state factual information in our customs documentation.  Please call us or email us at info@jadetime.com for more information.  We also except phone orders for orders from countries other than the United States. 

It is also possible to get a US address though a freight forwarding company such as Bongous.com, using such services often reduces your international shipping charges.

RIGHT OF SERVICE REFUSAL

Jadetime.com reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.  In order to keep low prices for our customers, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
